主讲人简介：

        Dr Zhigang Xiao is a lecturer of Structural Engineering at Federation University, Australia. He obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering at Nagoya University, Japan in 2003. Dr Zhigang Xiao has 10 years’ industry experience as a research engineer in Japan and structural engineer in China. He also had worked 3 years as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University before his teaching at Monash University between 2009 and 2014 and Federation University since 2014.

        Dr Xiao's research interest include civil infrastructure assessment, rehabilitation and maintenance with the focus on 1) fatigue and fracture of welded steel structures, 2) advanced structural analysis and 3) structural health monitoring.
