主讲人简介：

Fabio Freddi is an Associate Professor in Structural Engineering at University College London (UCL)’s Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering (CEGE), UK. He is also the Programme Director of the MSc in ‘Earthquake Engineering with Disaster Management’ at UCL. Prior to joining UCL, I worked as a Marie-Curie Fellow at the University of Warwick (UK), as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the University of Trento (Italy), as a research fellow at the University of Camerino (Italy), and as a visiting scholar at Rice University (Houston, USA). His research focuses on leading-edge structural engineering and the response of structures to extreme loads, including the areas of Earthquake Engineering and Structural Robustness. His research is supported by National and International funding bodies such as the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), British Council, Royal Society, European Commission, Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC), UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI), Government of India, Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia (CONACYT), and several Industrial Collaborators.
